Paediatrics Pneumology

Paediatric Pneumology is a subspecialty of Paediatrics that diagnoses and treats pathologies of the respiratory system in children and adolescents. It also monitors diseases that affect other organs, with respiratory repercussions.

This subspecialty is often sought after in cases of asthma, allergic rhinitis, bronchiolitis, sinusitis, or pneumonia, as well as cough or abnormal tiredness. Paediatric Pulmonology also treats more severe clinical cases, such as cystic fibrosis, respiratory failure or interstitial lung disease. if the disease is incurable, Paediatric Pneumology prevents its progression and ensures a better quality of life.
