Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery

Abdominoplasty is the surgical removal of excess skin from the abdomen area. The result is a more toned tummy with no visible stretch marks. This procedure is indicated for those who have lost a lot of weight or after pregnancy.

Blepharoplasty is the surgical removing excess skin from the eyelids. This procedure is done to position the eyelids correctly, reduce the appearance of tiredness and aging, and also to remove excess fat from the area.

This surgery includes the removal of benign and malignant skin tumours, the performance of biopsies or the surgical correction of aspects that may disturb well-being.

This intervention may be necessary when nodules or masses are detected in the neck area. Some conditions that may require this procedure are pathologies of the thyroid, parathyroid, and salivary glands, as well as cancer of the mouth (including lips and tongue), larynx, and vocal cords.

Otoplasty restores the conventional shape of the outer ears by bringing the ears closer to the skull or correcting their position. It includes the treatment of protruding ears and the correction of tears in the earlobes caused by the use of (heavy) earrings. This technique is indicated for those who have anatomical defects in the structure of the ear, related to shape, proportion or position.

Rhinoplasty, or nose plastic surgery, is a surgical procedure to improve the profile of the nose, changing the tip or reducing the width of the bone, in order to make the face more harmonious. Rhinoplasty can also be done to improve breathing and is usually performed after surgical treatment of a deviated septum.
